Abstract :
An iterative algorithm based on the Gauss-Seidel method has been proposed to solve the matrix equation of the MoM analysis for the array antenna. The numerical examples show that the CPU time has been greatly reduced compared with a direct method, i.e. the Gauss-Jordan method. The novel iterative algorithm is expected to enable the MoM analysis to be applied to large-scale array antennas, and is applied to solve a patch antenna array to show the validity of the method.
