Abstract
This paper shows the adopted strategy to transfer data among multi-platform process information systems. The main characteristics of the strategy for data exchanging, data conditioning, data type conversion and software design are shown. Some of the most important technological challenges that were faced in applying this strategy are related to restrictions in time to transfer a large number of signals from the data generator to other systems, different hardware and software platforms in the systems, keeping the efficiency of processes previously installed, assurance of low use of the capacity of processing power available, robustness and elimination of overload and conflicts to other processes
