Abstract :
This work discusses the design of distributed amplifier MMICs for the frequency range 0.5 - 18 GHz using the OMMIC D01PH 130 nm GaAs process, and the specific advantages and disadvantages of this amplifier class. The paper also examines the problems typically encountered when mounting and biasing this type of MMIC as part of a larger hybrid system.
