Abstract :
In this paper wide band measurements using a network analyzer were conducted in order to study and model the radio channel in two micro-cellular scenarios: regular and chaflane street corners. Four different frequencies were selected: 450 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2400 MHz; and two main situation distinguished LOS and NLOS. RMS delay Spread decreased with frequency for LOS. In NLOS situation, RMS delay spread was higher for chaflanes than for regular corners. It was noted that the correlation between frequencies decreased when the distance in frequency was increased. Correlation was bigger for chaflane than for Regular corners. And finally, tap delay lines were obtained for the two environments at all frequencies.
