Abstract
We examine DNA-centered transistors (DNAT ) as electronic nanodevices. In particular, the channel is formed using guanine DNA derivative. With the ultimate goal to design and analyze functional high-performance electronic nanobiodevices, in this paper, we comprehend basic phenomena and effects in bioelectronic devices. Though our motivation is to utilize biomolecules as electronic devices, the examined DNAT serves a proving platform for possible implementation of nitrogenous bases in molecular electronics. Electronic behavior and l-V characteristics of DNAT are studied.
