Abstract :
We obtain an exact closed form analytic solution for the Green´s function describing the dynamics of electrons in a symmetric narrow double quantum well system in a parallel magnetic field. The Landau quantized electrons are in skipping states of motion between the walls of the individual quantum wells with in-plane translation parallel to the well walls and tunneling between the wells, coupled with the zero-field lowest subband energy states of the double well system.
