Abstract :
This paper presents a new approach to the design of fractional delay discrete-time filters based on a multirate approach. We considered the case where it is necessary to generate a delay which is a ratio of very high integers. In order to obtain an efficient filter we propose a modification of the general polyphase structure for fractional delay
