Abstract :
This paper studies the effect of 2-D compact and square silicon nano pillars lattices on the light absorption of the silicon based solar cell. The absorption spectra of both compact and square lattice silicon nanopillars were calculated using full-wave analysis, 3D Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method, within the window of 300 nm -1000 nm for different incidence angles.
