Abstract
The paper presents the distortion effects on radiation pattern for directive as well as sectored shaped beam antennas applied in typical scenarios. Measurement and simulation results for antennas behind complex multilayer windows, covers consisting of glassfibre reinforced plastics etc. are compared. Optimized covers are presented.
