Abstract :
Based on the project of the substation integration and automation in Shanghai ZhengDa square, the paper describes the methodology used in software development and communication efficiency improvement. The system functions implementation in the substation is discussed in particular. Benefit from the advanced software and hardware the project adopted and the reasonable system configuration, the system performances the high properties and stronger functions. Since the system has been put into service in November 2002, the practical running experience accompany with the constant working, including the high reliability, strong real-time, all this indicate that it is a much successful example of substation integration and automation project
