Abstract :
An IBM-PC/AT system with an enhanced graphics adapter has been interfaced with a stereoviewer of a Nintendo family game to provide a method of clinical evaluation of stereoacuity by binocular dissociation. The stereoviewer is synchronized with two digitally generated stereo patterns, which are displayed on a color monitor alternately. The amount of disparity in the stereo patterns is interactively changed and recorded through the IBM-PC/AT. The system can also show color pictures to each eye and can be used to test the binocular time separation for motor fusion
