Abstract
In this paper, teletraffic characteristics of a cellular system using direct communication considering mobility are analyzed. In these systems, communication between two terminals in a cell is guaranteed by relaying capability of the base station. Additionally, two terminals can directly communicate with each other. The purpose of this paper is to theoretically analyze teletraffic performance of these systems considering effect of mobility. We evaluate the mean holding time in the cell for various velocities of nodes. To confirm the validity of the analysis, the results of simulation are also shown. This paper shows relation between the teletraffic performance and the mean holding time for various velocities of nodes.
