Abstract

This paper provides a brief update of changes and new initiatives within the International IECEx Certification Scheme, especially in relation to extension of the IECEx certification activities beyond Ex products and into the area of Ex related services. Changes and new initiatives in response to industry needs as such IECEx is rapidly being regarded as an essential Compliance tool for the International Ex industries. This paper will also see how IECEx is continuing along its path working towards its Vision to be "The Global Centre of Excellence in the Ex field"
