  • Abstract
    Conventional predistortion circuit with a parallel diode can only obtain expansions of gain but compressions of phase, which can´t compensate expansions of gain and phase of TWT(Traveling Wave Tube) working near saturate point. This paper proposed a novel predistortion circuit with parallel diodes. Cascading the predistortion circuit and the ka-band TWT model, simulation results show that the gain´s and phase´s compression of it are improved from 6.5 dB and 49.5°to 1.34 dB and 11.3°.
