Abstract :
It has been investigated how monomer, dimer and trimer water influences conduction phenomena in liquid dielectrics. In order to study which particular water form influences conduction phenomena, the ratio of the different forms of water was controlled by mixing two kinds of liquid dielectrics. The three mixtures used were acetonitrile/di-octyl phthalate, ter-butyl benzene/liquid paraffin and butyl-acetate/liquid paraffin. Electron currents in the three mixtures were studied with nanosecond pulses
