Abstract :
Safety accidents in coal mines frequently took place. This shows great concern about safety investment of coal mines at all levels. Since Heinrich gave theoretical research on industrial safety in 1931, it has been eighty odd years. The scholars in the world have constantly advanced the concepts such as safety economics, economical loss of enterprises, safety and economic benefits, safety investment model and optimum cost of safety investment. For deeply developing the function relationship between safety target and safety investment in coal mines, quantification of safety investment, and calculating formula of confirming safety benefits, these concepts play an important theoretical significance and guiding role.
