Abstract :
A novel microwave undulator based on TE01 mode which has large field capacity of the cavity is proposed. The dispersion relations between electrons and backward wave (BW) and forward wave (FW) are studied. The equivalent period and magnetic field to the magnetic undulator are derived. A forward wave undulator at 110GHz is designed by PIC (Particle in Cell) simulation and the results are identical with the theory.
