Abstract :
A novel fundamental mode multi-beam folded waveguide (FMMBFW) circuit, which can enhance the output power and interaction efficiency of terahertz (THz) traveling wave tubes (TWT), is proposed in this paper. Results show that the D-band FMMBFW circuit with three beams can produce 21.78 W peak output power and 6.34 % electronic efficiency at 0.14 THz.
