Abstract :
A wireless sensor network node is designed in this paper which includes temperature, humidity monitoring signal collection and communication protocol design based on ZigBee. The ZigBee network node can be used to achieve network control, device management, data collection, information transmission and so on. This design includes hardware and software. A full function ZigBee node (FFD) used PIC18LF4620 MCU as the core CPU and chip MRF24J40 as the RF transceiver controller. These two chips communicate each other, and also the data acquisition and transmission controlled through the SPI interface. The temperature and humidity of the environment can monitor by ZigBee wireless network node. The digital temperature sensor TC77 and capacitive humidity sensor HS1101 is used to measure temperature and humidity. Software design is based on microchip stack for the ZigBee protocol. All above are achieved and to measuring in real environment to prove the design is reasonable, reliable, and can be widely used
