Abstract
In complex networked systems, such as the Internet, power grids, and communication networks, the loadings of the network nodes may cause a network collapse. To prevent the ensuing economic and quality of service related losses, we need to understand the mechanisms of how local and global loadings cause network wide effects in complex networked systems. In this paper we will study this issue by MCMC simulations of an Ising model with a synthetic network topology, and in diverse qualitative network behaviour situations. The results with the synthetic network topology are also compared to those obtained with a real mobile telecommunications network topology, and to two other typical network topologies.
