Abstract :
Highly overmoded structures of sheet beam EIK are barriers for the stable operation in RF circuit. In this paper, 3D simulations of an output cavity are presented followed by the calculations of RF parameters and mode competition analysis. Simulation results indicate that potential mode competition is feasible to be alleviated by systematic optimization while meeting the other performance requirements simultaneously.
