Abstract :
Aggregated data has the potential to offer great knowledge which can help decision makers in their most important activities. One method of viewing aggregated data is structuring it in data cubes. The data warehouse users are often specialists in the domain in which the data warehouse is being deployed and do not have a clear understanding of the data cube structure and what it can offer. We present a dynamic method for creating data cube structures, based on the dynamic analysis of the queries submitted by the data warehouse users and on domain knowledge. The created data cube structures are returned to the users as suggestions for viewing the existing data.
