Abstract :
In this paper, an improved interpolation method using FFT is proposed. The improved interpolation method takes the advantages of the two interpolation methods which one is using filter and another is using FFT, and can effectively improve the accuracy by reconstructing the samples on both ends of the sequence which is interpolated by the FFT method. Experimental results show that, compared with the FFT-based interpolation method proposed by Prasad, the method presented here can increase the accuracy of interpolation by 100 times or so, while only increase the computational amount by 3.1%. Compared with the interpolation method using filter, under the condition of same computational amount, the method presented here can increase the accuracy of interpolation by more than 10 times.
