Abstract :
The algorithm of the probability of distribution network taking into account of voltage sags is analyzed in the paper. A reliability analysis method is presented that combines the Monte-Carlo simulation with the analytic method. The advantage of the Monte-Carlo simulation is that it reflects the stochastic nature of the power system behavior. The Monte-Carlo simulation requires almost no restrictions on the system complexity. It generates all kinds of fault information using reliability data for power system components. Then the characteristic value of voltage sags, voltage sags region and the reliability indices were calculated by the analytic method. The algorithm effectiveness is verified numerically for the IEEE-RBTS test system
