Abstract :
Tehran´s refinery is located in south of Tehran metropolitan and is one of the oldest Iran´s refineries. Currently, 500-700 barrels of petroleum pollutants are collected from the nearby village and underground waters in the peripheries of the refinery every day so in recent years, public sensitivity is focused on its impacts. The main target of this project is the study of the critical environmental pollutants in project area. The methodology of study is measuring and monitoring of the petroleum and industrial pollutants as selected heavy metals, TPH index, etc. and codify soil and water pollution profile in 2-phase by application of GIS, SPSS and MVSP softwares. The results are shown that there is a plenty of pollutants in the critical situation and higher than standard.
