Centralized antennas adjustment of overshooting and its influence on network indexes

Overshooting is a familiar problem in GSM network. Now the manners to reduce overshooting remain in theory and their effects in an actual implementation in real network are missing. In this paper, we implement these manners to reduce overshooting in GSM network. To observe the results more precise, all our adjustments are centralized in a recent short period. The detailed data are given and it is shown that the network indexes will be significantly improved by centralized antennas adjustment of overshooting. From this experiment, some valuable experiential conclusions are obtained, which might be widely used to upgrade the network indexes in the future.
