Abstract :
A good quality of experience (QoE) is a critical factor to the success of mobile Internet business for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Internet Content Providers (ICPs). Based on the analysis of social applications´ communication mechanism on smart phone, we proposed a group of QoE indicators to evaluate the QoE of social business from the user´s experience perception perspective. Then, we analyzed the influencing factors further and brought forward the calculation method of these indicators. And on this basis, we discussed how to differentiate social applications´ traffic and identify the user´s specific behaviors from those traffic. After that, we adopted passive measurement technique to measure this group of indicators on iPhone platform in the actual network environments. The experiments´ results show that, this group of indicators can reflect the user´s real experience accurately when they use social business.
