Abstract :
Based on remote sensing images and the land use vector map of 1980, 1995 and 2000, through superposing and analyzing, the tempo-spatial process of land-use change from 1980 to 1995 and 1995 to 2000 in Jiaozhou Bay is achieved. With analysis on land-use change patterns and their driving forces, the main land-use change features show that in 1980~1995, the cultivated land area reduced obviously, and most of them converted to construction land and grassland; in 1995~2000, the construction land area increased obviously. Land-use change in Jiaozhou Bay affects on sustainable development by influencing on food security, environment and socioeconomic development.
