In this paper, we have explored the relationship between carbon dioxide emissions and GDP growth both in US and China, and got some significant conclusions. The results showed that the total carbon dioxide emissions were large both in China and US, there are many differences between two countries. Although both the CO2 emissions growth and GDP growth of China were much higher than those of the US, the elasticity of CO2 growth with GDP growth showed the same conclusion. Fortunately, the trend of this dictator was declined in China in recent years. It means the Environmental policy was at work.
