Abstract :
The general layout of ISI-800, a low emittance third generation machine consisting of a linac injector (120 MeV), a storage ring with 4-period TEA lattice, and intended for research and industrial applications, is presented together with a discussion of most important design considerations. Design features of magnet, vacuum, injection RF systems are described. Three straight sections are available for wigglers and undulators, and up to 24 photon beam lines may ultimately emanate from dipole magnets, The emittance is 27 nm. The dynamic aperture is sufficiently large for the injection and the stable storage of the beam
