Abstract :
Summary form only given. We present a double-chirped semiconductor mirror with negative dispersion in the 1035 nm to 1075 nm wavelength range. We demonstrate the first step towards fabrication of a dispersive mirror with broadband negative dispersion but without an integrated absorber. This device allowed us to generate clean 200-fs soliton pulses in a Nd:glass laser without additional dispersion compensation.
