Abstract :
An optimization method is proposed for the BS to manage the radio resources in device-to-device (D2D) communications when cellular users share their resources with D2D links. We first derive the outage probability at the D2D receivers. Based on the derivation, we formulate an optimization problem for the resource allocation in the form of a linear assignment problem and explain how to solve it. Simulation results show that performance of the proposed method is better than that of the conventional one in term of the average outage probability of the D2D links.
