Abstract :
In this paper, the absorbing boundary condition of Perfectly Matched Layers (PML) is studied for sheet-beam vacuum devices. As a simplified model, the standard rectangular waveguide of the R100 type is simulated with the Finite Differential in Time Domain (FDTD) method and PML. The reflection errors of different absorbing boundary conditions and different microwave modes are given and compared with theoretical numerical error.
