Abstract :
In this paper, we consider the railway lateral track irregularity estimation issue based on an unknown input identification filter. The lateral track irregularity is closely related to the lateral displacement of the wheelset. The measurements for the truck irregularity are the lateral acceleration and the yaw rate of the bogie and the lateral acceleration of the vehicle body. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated by simulation results.
