Abstract :
Summary form only given. We show that by incorporating a dispersion map with a reasonably large cavity net dispersion into a fiber ring laser cavity results in larger intercavity nonlinear phase chirping of quasi-stationary pulses in the cavity, which significantly enhances the spectrum bandwidth of the output pulses.
