Abstract
A PowerPoint presentation on the design and performance, applications and future developments of through wall radar systems is provided. The portable radar interior space monitor (PRISM) system, an adaptation of Cambridge Consultants´ short range radar technology to display the 3D position of objects sensed through the walls, is featured. Advances in RF design and processing has accelerated the development of short range UWB radar systems, making the system applicable to search and rescue, hostage rescue, area surveillance and tracking, and building security
