Abstract :
A novel method of applying array interpolation and polynomial rooting to NC-MUSIC (multiple signal classification for noncircular signals) algorithm, termed as IN-root-MUSIC, is presented for almost uniform linear arrays (AULAs). The method is accuracy and computationally efficient because AULAs are interpolated to uniform linear arrays (ULAs) for which the polynomial rooting can be used without modelling errors.
