Abstract :
The ultra wideband (UWB) radio has been mature in short range wireless access especially in indoor dense multipath environments. In this paper the application of UWB radio in remote communication is presented. The bottleneck of UWB remote communication is the electromagnetic compatibility of UWB signals. Sinusoidal modulation Gaussian pulse is used to resolve this problem and its waveform is designed reasonably. The results of power spectrum density (PSD) function deduction and simulation show that UWB signals used for remote communication are suitable for antenna emission and are compatible with GPS. The BER performance of these pulse signals in AWGN channel is simulated and some advices are presented to reduce UWB interference
