A multi-block structured mesh generation system, SMESH3D (S_tructured M_e_s_h_ In 3_ D_imensions) has been developed for the generation of grids for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) applications. This paper gives an overview of SMESH3D software architecture and highlight its major features, namely: multi-block connectivity computation and associated capabilities
