Abstract :
A simple method for the generation of millimetre waves as the basis of a radio over fibre downlink system is presented. The technique relies on the amplification of components of a frequency comb by stimulated Brillouin scattering. The two beat signals are heterodyned in a photo diode where the carrier is generated
