Abstract :
Summary form only given. A wake potential due to a test dust particle in a plasma with ion flow was studied based on the interaction of the dust particle with ion acoustic oscillations. The wake structure by the dust particle was found to be characterized by the periodic potential. We extend the wake potential study to the system of two dust particles interacting with the ion acoustic oscillations in a plasma with ion flow. Our approach to the wake potential is based on the semiclassical interaction Hamiltonian in which virtual quasiparticles are exchanged between two dust particles. The explicit form of the resulting wake potential is obtained by carrying out the canonical transformation.
