Abstract :
In this paper, we intend to give an exemplary receiver architecture for Faster Than Nyquist(FTN) signalling transmission that is applicable to DVB-S2 standard. In order to ensure higher spectral efficiency(SE) than the existing DVB-S2 standard based on Nyquist rate, symbol time interval can be reduced by relaxing the orthogonal criterion. As a result, the problem of inter symbol interference(ISI) arises. This paper is mainly shown to adapt to DVB-S2 receiver under ISI channel that is caused by FTN signaling. The proposed structure can bring about the improvement of SE and tolerate the ISI channel impairment, effectively.
