Abstract :
This paper addresses auditory modeling in relation to binaural applications. Relatively few studies so far exist where auditory modeling is extended to include advanced binaural features. There are numerous potential applications where such modeling may yield practical results or improved insight into the problem. The focus is to develop models for spatial sound quality measurements and general modeling of spatial hearing. The novelties of the paper are related to auditory filterbank designs, temporal processing schemes, and binaural processing strategies
