Abstract :
With the continuous development of multi-object fiber spectroscopic telescope, the integrated number of optical fibers on the focal plane is increasing, and these fibers should precisely align the celestial target when the astronomical observation is performing. Hence, the precise coordinates of the fiber tips are obligatory for tracking the celestial target. If the fiber positioning mechanism wants to accurately control fiber tips on the focal surface of the telescope, the movement trajectories of the fiber tips must be accurately measured in advance, so the fiber position measurement is the crucial problem. Based on the special structure of the LAMOST telescope and the composition of the initial position error, this paper aims at developing a high precision and robust measurement method by using bundle adjustment with a few control points.
