Abstract
Due to the inherent distribution of transportation management domains, multi-agent approaches to the construction of Decision Support Systems (DSS) are popular. In this paper we propose complementing multiagent DSS for transportation management by a service-oriented computing approach. In particular we describe how organizational models can be used for service description and discovery. We apply our approach to two real world applications in the transportation management domain.
