  • Abstract
    Based on the mathematical model of the Brushless DC motor (BLDCM), the simulation model of the BLDCM control system in MATLAB has been built. The self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller is applied to the speed control of BLDCM to adjust certain parameters of the fuzzy PID online by adopting fuzzy control principle, so as to achieve high-precision control for motor speed. The system is analyzed in MATLAB/SIMULINK. The simulation result shows that the simulation model can work well with quick response, no overshoot output, high control precision, and the system has strong robustness for various disturbances and parameter variations, whose static and dynamic performance with the self-adaptive fuzzy PID control are both better than conventional PID control.
