  • Abstract
The popularity of image acquisition equipment of today as well as accessibility to editing and tampering issues has made Digital Forensics technology an important area of image processing. The study uses image interpolation to figure out the image characteristic value with support vector machine introduced to conduct classification in order to reduce time of identifying the source camera of digital images, and also, to simultaneously achieve high recognition rate. As far as experimental design is concerned, cameras in different brands and models were used under the experiment environment of this study to conduct classification. The experiment results indicated that this method reports good recognition rate, with recognition rate up to 90% once the wave filter is introduced additionally.
