Abstract :
Software configuration management (SCM) controls and maintains the revision, integrity and traceability of software systems throughout the entire software life cycle. In order to solve the efficiency problems in construction, management and maintenance of software configuration component library, a component classification method based on priority-facet (PF-CCM) was proposed. Unifying the three kinds of component retrieval mechanisms, i.e., index, key word and facet, an optimized matching algorithm with pruning (POMA) was introduced, which sorts the query results according to the priority of facets. The experiments show that these works can improve the query efficiency.
