Abstract :
The development of construction cost systems is subject to different conditions than that of conventional software systems. This includes the introduction of new activities to the development process and the removal of others. An adapted process must cope with important idiosyncrasies of construction cost systems development. Integration techniques have to be selected systematically in order not to endanger the whole software development process. This article describes the development of a construction cost system and it generalizes salient features of the software process used. Based on functional needs analysis it designs the software such modules as project management, project overview, sub-projects, measure item, other item, table of labors material machines, expenses table, report form. Cost of software main frame is divided into three levels: user interaction layer, core logic object layer, project file data layer. It discusses such key technologies as interface technology, file storage technology, data exchange technology.
