  • Abstract
    A signal-to-noise (SNR) method is used to obtain a tight bound for linear time invariant (LTI) coding systems over an additive Gaussian noise channel. Both spectral factorization methods and disturbance observer are utilized, with complete results provided for internal stability, the infimal signal to noise ratio (SNR) required and a four-step iterative design procedure. A numerical example is given to illustrate the results.
